~Bridge Building the Past and the Future~

It is an honor to serve again as Worshipful Master of Hero Lodge. As a Beaufort native I take immense pride in this lodge. Growing up, it was my aspiration to become a member of this lodge, and now, being able to serve once more as a leader devoted to others is truly meaningful to me.

This year, we will be one of the youngest lodges marking a significant milestone for our organization. That could be a strength. However, to become relevant and successful in our community, we need people who are willing to show up and work together.

Our main goals are to increase membership and strengthen our fundraising efforts. We will be visible in the community.

We will support and promote programs that help our youth through mentorship.  I strongly encourage the Craft to attend District and, Regional meetings, and the Grand Lodge session. We will support our widows, conduct church visitations, and visit other lodges within the district and the jurisdiction.

Prince Hall Freemasonry is more than an institution; it is a living testament to the power of perseverance, enlightenment, and fellowship. At Hero Lodge #248, we proudly carry on this heritage by fostering leadership, strengthening character, and uplifting those around us. We believe that every man, through dedication to self-improvement and service, can become a guiding light for others.

This website serves as a gateway to our lodge's mission, history, and upcoming endeavors. Whether you are a seasoned Brother, a curious seeker, or someone eager to learn more about our craft, we invite you to explore, connect, and discover the values that define who we are. May your visit here inspire you to delve deeper into Freemasonry and the profound role it plays in shaping better men, strengthening communities, and building a brighter future for all.

Fraternally,
